His, Tip to Toe

An addiction can be described as the continued use of a mood altering substance or behavior despite adverse consequences, or a neurological impairment leading to such behaviors.  In Christian circles, God making man in His image is often discussed. However, when we attempt to exercise this fact, we are beset with questions. “Am I right?” “Am I going in the proper direction?” “What do you think about…?” And when we do not feel the answers are quite right, we form focus groups involving the same people hoping that “if I can get them all together, I will have the answer.”  We become addicted to this and can spend a lifetime altering our course.  Impairing the very judgement given to each of us by our God.

Stop allowing the mood altering substance of opinions, bad experiences, poor school performance, impair what has been in you from the beginning.  You are known inside and out. You were shaped first in then out.  Body and soul, wonderfully made. Every bone in your body is known, God knows exactly how we are made, bit by bit (Psalm 139, The MESSAGE).   You are His, tip to toe.
