This gets to me, “what would you like for dinner?” And the return is, “it doesn’t matter.” When you read the account of creation in the Bible, everything mattered to God. Space, distance, time, type of animal, even the order of creation – it all mattered. The canonization of the books of the Bible, the succession of the Kings in the Bible, it all matters. You matter to someone, regardless the circumstance.
So, the next time I ask you to dinner, how does a nice plate of chittlins, grits and ham with a glass of pickle juice appeal to you?
