You Know…

My first lesson in purpose came from daddy.  He was a preacher.  He was a teacher.  He was an educator.  He never wrote a book, but his sermons were ahead of the times.  I’ll read them now and wonder if he had an extra eye into the future. He never had the grandiose idea of being on a television show in hopes of having a series.  He did have a pretty famous radio broadcast that people still talk about, 21 years after his death. His lesson in purpose was simple, “Know your aptitude.” Know your innate, acquired capacity for your placement on this earth.  People can guide you, but the ultimate decision is yours for knowing your aptitude.  People cannot demand it out of you, but you can command it’s will.  That innate, acquired capacity.  The simplicity of this is complex but you can know, and you do know.
